The Sun which is the largest member of solar system with other members revolving around it, a sphere of intensely hot gaseous matter with diameter of 1.39x10e9 m and an average distance of 1.5x10e11m distance from Earth. With an effective black body temperature Ts of 5777K, the sun is effectively a fusion reactor.
