Solar Cooker working principle !
On sunny day , the sun shines approximately 1000W per Sq.m area of planet surface. Solar cookers work on the principle of reflection. An aluminum plated parabolic bowl used to reflect the sun rays at various angles. The reflected sun rays are concentrated on one point which is known as focal point. When the object to be cooked is placed at the focal point, it will heat up and cooked.
Here the Solar energy is converted into heat energy. The darker the object placed at the focal point , better the light converted to heat.
Solar Cooker working principle !
Solar water heating system uses sun's energy rather than electricity or gas to heat water. This saves a lot of electric power and maintenance expence. Sunlight strikes the absorber surface , water flowing through the copper tubes absorbers pickup the heat energy from Sun's radiations.
